Pocket Corkscrews
Pocket Corkscrews
are obviously named because of their small size that allows them to fit
in small pockets, either in clothing or a picnic tote.
Typically
they are made in two separate pieces.
The first
piece is the worm which is attached to an extension of the worm that has
a hole perpendicular to the worm in it. A small rod is inserted into the
hole which acts as a means of turning the corkscrew worm. The small rod
is usually hollow, and doubles as a sheath that covers the worm when not
in use.
